In keeping with our theme for this year, "Transfer", we are delighted to announce that we have secured none other than Axel Koch, Chairman of the TransferAllianz, as our keynote speaker. He will provide an overview of the German transfer landscape on the morning of March 19, 2026, addressing both technology and knowledge transfer aspects.
The panel discussion, scheduled for March 20, 2026, will focus on knowledge transfer, specifically the involvement of societal stakeholders in participatory and citizen science formats. Questions such as "Can participatory transfer formats contribute to scientific knowledge? And how can understanding enhance the acceptance of science within society?" will be discussed in depth with a distinguished panel and, of course, the participants. We are pleased that Jan Martin Wiarda will once again take on the role of moderator.
For the discussion, we were able to secure the following panelists:
- Wiebke Hoffmann from the Stifterverband
- Prof. Dr.-Ing. Uwe Altrock from the SDG+Lab at the University of Kassel
- Dr. Isabell Roessler from the Center for Higher Education Development
- Christin Liedtke from the Helmholtz Association's office
- Wiebke Brink from Wissenschaft im Dialog.
In addition, there will be numerous offerings from our member network, funding organizations, and sponsors in the form of workshops and exchanges on a variety of topics. At thematic tables in the foyer, you will have the opportunity to learn about the association's offerings and other aspects of research and transfer management. Our sponsors and funding organizations will also be showcased there.
The presentation of the posters will take place on the first floor of the Campus Center. On Thursday, March 19, 2026, you can meet the authors from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM for a discussion about their poster contributions.
